Sa paristoria de Bakis (Bakis’ Tale)

Bakis’s Tale is an animated medium-length film and an illustrated book where handcrafted puppets come to life within a world created through collage. The animations were created by Elisa Marras, who co-directed the film and handled the compositing in both the film and the book.

The book includes a DVD with the film.

Based on the original story Sa paristoria de Bakis, it follows the journey of a young boy eager to explore the world, traveling across a Sardinia where myths and folk legends resurface, bringing to life fantastic characters and countless adventures. The film is presented in Sardinian and Italian, with English subtitles.
