Caravaggio, The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist, 1608
Spam tells the story of a university professor who, struck by temporary amnesia, finds himself entangled in an international intrigue after replying to an email. In his attempt to reconstruct his identity from the traces left on his computer, a fragmented narrative emerges — emotional, comic, and desperate — blending pop culture with references to thinkers such as Benjamin, Freud, Lacan, and Žižek.
