ELQE – Eres lo que escuchas

ELQE – Eres los que escuchas is a project by artist and musician Alessandro Olla, presented in 2016 as the final thesis of the Master in Sound Art at the University of Barcelona, Fine Arts Department, under the supervision of Professor Barbara Held.
The project was developed and recorded entirely in Ethiopia, exploring the country’s soundscapes — from rural areas to urban centers — with a special focus on the acoustic environments of markets.
