Score for no land

The artwork for the electronic music project Score for no land originates from a photograph taken by the musicians: a Malian horizon swept by the Harmattan winds. The landscape, almost completely erased, reveals a few dotted traces that evoke the rhythm of tactile alphabets. This allusion to abstract writing and sensory interaction became the visual concept behind the album’s cover and packaging design.
